During my almost month stay here I have created great relationships with the amazing staff here, especially the GREAT physical therapists who could also act as your real therapists if you need (lol.) Don’t like your dinner? Not a problem they’ll order you what you want. The CNAs were great I’ve had nothing but great respiratory therapists and there is less than a handful of nurses that I had just a little problem with (just due to how often I see them during the day or how long it takes them to tend to me when I call for them.) the doctors here are amazing as well. Big shoutout to Chris, Pamela and stephanie for being my physical therapists I came in here paralyzed from the chest down after a serious car accident and just with little bits of therapy a day I am able to now push my self in a wheelchair and pull myself up when needed etc, and it doesn’t sound big but it is big big progress for me they have all helped me out greatly mentally and physically. Sad to leave this place. Thank you Select Specialty!

Pam, Sarah and James were the best therapy providers in the world. I progressed rapidly with their motivation and skill. I hate to leave because I was treated so well by them. Nurses and staff treat you like a queen. Would recommend to anyone needing assistance after surgery. I love them all and they are great

My husband has been there for over a week now and the attention to detail the care and the concern is beyond amazing he has been treated with kindness and respect he is an incredible man and he means the world to me. they seem to understand and honor that point.

All of the staff that have taken care of me have been very friendly, gone out of their way and over above to make me feel comfortable. They worked very well as a team to provide me a full range of care. They allowed me to ask questions and they would find an answer if they didn’t know. The team feels like their own family and I became apart of it and developed personal relationships. I cannot say enough good about the care that I have received here. Overall amazing call light response, room cleanliness, and food service. PT and OT have been extremely motivational and make me want to do more. Doctors have been easily accessible, patient, informative, and eased me and my husband’s mind with the option to ask as many questions as possible. The care conference was very helpful and eased our minds because we were able to answer any and all questions to the entire care team at one time. Huge shout out to Brad, Sarah, Rachel, Tara, Olivia (Case manager), Cheedee (RN), and Aisha (Food service aid).

Brad and Rachel from PT/OT have been wonderful to work with. They make therapy fun and that makes me want to work harder. Everyone that has worked with me has been awesome. If I knew of anyone that needed the kind of care that you provide I would definitely recommend them to come here for treatment. God forbid I were to ever need this again I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you to all of the staff that has taken care of me you have done a fantastic job and I will miss seeing you. I was here for like a month or so. Not really sure because I don’t remember any of it. Everyone tells me it was awful and I had to leave because I was too much, post liver transplant. But like, I was in the hospital for like 6 months total and a dozen times since for a week or two at a time. I watched medical staff everyday for a long time. So my conclusion is that I didn’t die in their care so good job. I was supposed to die or be having my diaper changed for me for the rest of my life. Now, neither of those things are true. So 5 stars for not letting me die, my young children appreciate that daddy can now fly to Japan to see them for the first time in 6 years.

My husband was transferred here on 12/24 after battling sepsis and ARDS at another hospital. He was on the vent with a trach and less than two weeks after he arrived, he was completely liberated from the vent and his trach was removed. All the staff- from the cooks to the medical staff to the office staff have been incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better hospital experience. Everyone has been so kind, caring and friendly. He received OT/PT/Speech from the first day and less than two weeks after arriving was able to walk almost independently and return to a normal diet. We will always be grateful for Select Specialty Hospital- Victorian Village- Columbus, Ohio for everything they have done to not only help my husband survive, but to actually thrive when he leaves.

We loved all the staff who cared for our son, Ben. They did an amazing job with getting him off the vent. Rachel and Brad worked with Ben in physical therapy and occupational therapy. Also Hannah did a wonderful job with Ben for speech therapy!! She went the extra mile with him. All the nurses and support teams are so caring. Tara, Missy and Cathy were wonderful with Ben. I know I missed some names but our family was so pleased with our son’s care!

No complaints at all about this place except the one night aid always had an attitude wanted to over talk me and act like she just knew everything…. But other then that the entire staff has been cool with me especially Brittney I think is her name melvis Sean Peter devony penny and everybody are just awesome and the therapy team is top tier A+ no complaints from me I really didn’t want to leave but all good things must come to bad end I guess

I was in the facility for 161 days. However thanks to 2 amazing therapy teams Sarah and Melissa and also Rachel, Brad, and Bethlehem. Without them i wouldn't have made it back on my feet literally. My nurses were amazing. Elaine, Penny, Kathy,Dallas,Peter to only name a few without them i wouldn't be well. My tech people were caring and so supportive with me. To name a few Sean , Cristina, Grant, Paul ,Jon and Kelli. The wound care team was caring and supportive and thanks to them I am healed. So many people here it takes to make a great hospital and they do it effortlessly. Rita D
